Childcare, Families, and the Workforce
Every Vermont child deserves a strong start, and employers need a workforce that can reliably show up ready to work each day. Recognizing the current provider system was struggling to provide high-quality, affordable childcare to all families, the Let’s Grow Kids campaign secured first-in-the-nation reforms in childcare, including new investments to address the problem. Necrason Group led the campaign’s ten-year engagement strategy, which grew childcare champions, declared childcare is essential, and, with tri-partisan support, significantly increased funding for childcare for both parents and providers.
