Paraquat, a highly toxic herbicide linked to Parkinson’s disease, continues to be used on food crops in the United States despite being banned in many countries.
Necrason Group was retained to promote change by a major philanthropic interest dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease.
Our approach brought patients’ and medical experts’ voices to the front and center to build a bipartisan way forward.
Vermont subsequently enacted the first-in-the-nation ban on paraquat.
